Exclaim! Skiboards

Revel8 Skiboards are high quality, precision engineered boards used by skiboard professionals all over the world. Skiboards are not snowblades, skiblades, snow blades, ski blades, mini skis, trick skis or short skis. Skiboarding is not an off shoot of skiing but a snow sport in its own right; with its own competitions, skiboard only companies, community and style. Skiboarding has its own world championships and will soon have a European championships, as well as many smaller competitions running throughout the season.

Exclaim! Skiboards sell Revel8 skiboards, Bomber skiboard bindings, Groove skiboard bindings and our own Exclaim! riser plate and releasable binding. The Exclaim! Skiboards riser plate has been hand crafted and specifically engineered by skiboarders, for skiboarders. Skiboards have been made by many companies over the years such as Canon, Mix, Groove, Line and Loken, today Revel8 are widely considered to be the pinnacle of skiboarding design. Mainstream ski companies made their own mass-produced items, but these compare in no way to true skiboards. They are commonly called snowblades, skiblades and miniskis, not to be confused with real skiboards. These mass produced items fail to deliver the feel and ride of a real skiboard. Upon moving from snowblades onto skiboards you will never look back, the speed, feel, stability, maneuverability, unique design and graphics put skiboards in a league of their own.

Skiboarding is a tight-knit community that is ever growing and welcomes anyone interested in the sport and are always on hand to offer any help, advice and support needed. We at Exclaim! Skiboards are part of this community, and this company was set up to provide skiboarders in the UK a way to quickly and easily buy skiboards without having to have them shipped from abroad. We aim to spread the word of skiboarding and help this relatively embryonic sport become a global phenomenon.

Skiboarding has been popular in the past; around the year 2000 where it featured at the X games and other large events, however, its popularity died down and the sport lay dormant until it started making a resurgence due to companies such as Revel8, Loken, Summit, Spruce and Snowjam. 2 seasons ago, Revel8 only sold one skiboard- the hugely popular 'Revolt'. Last season it featured four models, 3 of which being pro models- The ALP, EMP, BWP and Tansho. These skiboards also proved hugely popular and allowed the sport to expand even further. Now, for the 2007/8 season, Revel8 is producing 10 models of boards (including a re-make of the ‘Revolt’). The only way now is up, as Skiboarding becomes one of the fastest growing snow sports in the world.

At Exclaim! skiboarding is our passion, and we want to share it with the world. Skiboarding needs people's support if it is to be maintained, people need to be told about it, people who ride on snowblades need to see the benefits of skiboards.
